How to write? – Advice and Tips

In order for a sponsor to show interest in sponsoring your event you must highlight the benefits that your sponsor will get while sponsoring your event, for example if you were to create an event based on breast cancer you can write a letter to medical organizations to sponsor your event while letting them know that they can benefit from your event placing ads, banners and inviting new clients so that they get to know their medical organization a bit more.

There are 2 types of sponsorship letters , one of them is when you are writing to a business organization to help fund your event and the other is when you write to a friend to sponsor your event in which case does not need to be so formal.

The basic guidelines to write the letters are as follows:

In the upper left side you will write the date, sponsor name, address, city, state and zip code.

Below that information you will write the Name of the person, then the body of the letter and end your letter with your signature, your name and the position you have in the organization.
