How to write? – Advice and Tips

Normally the letter of responsibility is used to exempt a company from any harm or damaged that may be cause by their customers, a perfect example would be a shooting competition or in any kind of extreme sports, like bungee jumping or skydiving, any accidents that may happen the company is not held responsible for that if it’s the users fault.

Before any type of dangerous or extreme sport the person who is willing to compete is first asked to sign this type of letter of responsibility.

There are other cases in which you might need to sign a letter of responsibility, not just in sports as you will see here:

• Registration of internet domains.
• Civil and criminal liability.
• Tuition fees.
• Charter’s expense.
• Other.
The information that you have to include in the letter of responsibility is as follows:
• Current date and place.
• Name and address.
• Details about the responsibility that you take.
• Signature and seal of the club or company.

It’s very simple indeed, but this simple piece of paper can be used in a court of law as evidence in case something does go wrong.
